Position Overview
Quality Control - CMM Programmer at Win-Tech, Inc. located in Kennesaw, GA. Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 am–4:30 pm (4‑day work week). We are an AS9100‑certified precision machine shop supporting a diverse aerospace and defense customer base. We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join our Quality team. This role is critical to ensuring that all machined parts meet stringent specification, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Program and operate CMM equipment using PC‑DMIS.
- Develop detailed inspection plans, part setups, and work instructions based on engineering drawings, 3D models, and GD&T.
- Perform first article (AS9102), in‑process, and final inspections.
- Analyze inspection results and support root‑cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and support audit readiness.
- Verify out‑of‑tolerance dimensions using alternate measurement methods.
- Assist with calibration, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with quality staff.
- 3+ years of CMM programming/inspection experience in aerospace, defense, or AS9100‑regulated manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and dimensional metrology.
- Experience with PC‑DMIS (preferred) or similar CMM software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models (STEP, IGES, etc.).
- Experience using standard inspection tools (micrometers, height gages, indicators).
- Familiarity with AS9102, DFARS, and ITAR is a plus.
- Strong math skills (geometry, decimals, trig, etc.).
- Consistent, punctual attendance required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior inspection experience required.
- Prior CMM experience required (setup, running programs, interpreting results).
- CMM programming experience (PC‑DMIS preferred).
