As a Field Engineer, you will be vital to ALC’s operations through field commissioning of customized building automation systems. We seek a self-motivated, detail-oriented, customer-focused team member who can solve complex problems and mentor less experienced engineers.

• Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems using advanced Direct Digital Control technology.
• Serve as a local technical contact and field leader.
• Provide solutions for complex system issues.
• Deliver turnkey projects for small to medium sizes.
• Ensure proper operation of systems, controls, sensors, and software.
• Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports.
• Manage time effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate project status and details to customers.
• Provide site-specific training to owners/operators on the complete system.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or a related technical field.
• Ability to climb ladders or use lift equipment over 8 feet and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability by the company.

• Degree or certification in HVAC, Controls, or related field.
• Experience with building automation software like WebCTRL.
• Knowledge of building automation system integration.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networks and wireless tech.
• Ability to handle multiple challenges across disciplines.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
