The Senior Manager, Test & Validation Engineering leads

Scrum and Integration QA engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for:defining and executing tests strategy and process, overseeing verification and validation activities, accelerating the adoption ofAI-enabledtestautomation, and delivering clear Testing KPI reporting to leadership.

The role requires close collaboration with Product Management, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Firmware Engineering, Dev Ops, Program Management, Cybersecurity, and Global Engineering Co Eteams .

• Lead and develop thetestengineering organization including talent development&succession planning.

• Define and execute the overall test, verification, validation,interoperability and product quality strategy across hardware, firmware, software&building automation solutions.

• Drive successful execution of product development programs by ensuring quality, schedule adherence, risk management, and release readiness.

• Champion AI-assisted testing,test automation,CI/CD practices, and digital transformation initiatives to improve productivity and product quality.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Dev Ops, and global teams to ensure successful product delivery.

• Leadand supportlabinfrastructureinvestments andtest environment capabilities supporting current and future product platforms.

• Ensureestablishmentof and compliance with engineering processes, cybersecurity expectations, industry standards, and product certification requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a technical field.

• 8+ years of experience in product development, program management, verification & validation, quality engineering, or technical discipline.

• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a technical field.

• Demonstrated ability to lead large technical teams.

• Strong understanding of product development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and quality management systems.

• Strong leadership capabilities include strategic thinking, change leadership, talent development, cross-functional collaboration, customer focus, and data-driven decision making.

• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC controls, embedded systems, software applications, cloud-connected products, and interoperability testing.

• Knowledge of industrystandardcommunication protocols including BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus, MQTT, Ethernet, and IP networking technologies.

• Knowledge ofmodern test automation technologies such as Playwright, Selenium, API automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted testing solutions.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity validation, secure product development practices, penetration testing concepts, and software composition analysis tools.

The annual salary for this position is between $ - $ annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.
