Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for open rank, part‑time and limited‑term faculty positions in the Joel

A. Katz Music & Entertainment Business Program for the academic year 2025‑2026. Positions are semester‑by‑semester as needed and rank will be determined at hiring.

• Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the area of music and entertainment business, based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

To teach undergraduate courses:

• Minimum of a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Music/Entertainment or a closely _ discipline at the time of hire.
• OR minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Music/Entertainment or a closely related discipline and at least 7 years of professional experience.
• OR minimum of a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in a non‑related discipline with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.

To teach graduate courses:

• Terminalφέρει/Doctorate degree (or foreign equivalent) in Music/Entertainment or related discipline at the time of hire.

• Experience in the music & entertainment business, understanding financial and legal aspects, contract negotiation, management, marketing, trends, and technological advancements, including social media and digital platforms.
• Experience in audio/video production.
