Job Description:

As the Controller, you will play a critical role in our company's financial health and growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. In addition to owning the financial reporting function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance our financial controls and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Own the Financial Reporting Process:
  Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Develop Policies and Procedures:
  Implement best practices to strengthen financial controls and streamline processes.
• Collaborate with External CPA:
  Work closely with our external CPA firm to support audit and tax compliance requirements.
• Manage Inventory:
  Oversee inventory management processes to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs.
• Provide Strategic Financial Insight:
  Partner with senior leadership to provide financial analysis and insight to support decision-making.
• Drive Continuous Improvement:
  Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems to support our company's growth objectives.

  Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred but not required)
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Controller or similar role
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience with Net Suite or similar ERP systems is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
