• Manage AP, AR, general ledger, journal entries, fixed assets, and month-end close.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under US GAAP.
• Maintain and reconcile Sage 50 and support ongoing ERP improvements.
• Lead, prepare and support documentation for internal and external reviews and audits.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal management reports for the US and Germany.
• Serve as main point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.

• Process bi-monthly payroll in coordination with the Administration team.
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries, reconciliations, and reports.
• Oversee payroll tax accuracy and compliance with support from our payroll provider.
• Maintain data accuracy and workflows in the HRIS/payroll system.
• Support banking and payment processes in collaboration with the headquarters’ finance team.

• Drive improvements in accounting processes, documentation, and internal controls.
• Support ERP and reporting enhancements as the organization grows.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA-track preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a small-to-mid-size company or international environment.
• Strong audit experience (internal audit, external audit preparation, or audit coordination).
• Hands‑on experience with Sage 50 (Peachtree); experience with modern ERP solutions preferred, e.g. Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 365.
• Experience with payroll processing, payroll accounting, and payroll reconciliations (ADP, Total Source).
• Experience with Online Banking Solutions.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and month‑end close processes.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills; proactive approach to improving processes.
• Clear and confident communication skills; ability to work with local teams and global colleagues.
• German language skills are a plus but not required.
