Overview

Claiborne Senior Living, LLC in Hattiesburg, Mississippi is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (
CNA
) to join our healthcare team on a full-time, hourly basis. As a CNA, you will provide direct care and support to our senior residents, assisting them with daily living activities and maintaining their overall physical and emotional well-being. This is an individual contributor role, working closely with our nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to our residents.

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Monitoring and recording resident vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
• Administering medications as directed by the nursing staff
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
• Assisting with simple medical procedures, such as wound care and catheterization
• Communicating effectively with residents, family members, and other healthcare team members
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Mississippi
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred
• Must have a compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to work as a team member and communicate effectively with others
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and assist residents with mobility
