Overview
Our client, a growing Health Tech SaaS company, is seeking a Technical Architect to help shape and drive the evolution of their technology landscape. This role will be central to designing scalable, modern systems that leverage microservices, APIs, and Microsoft technologies
. The Enterprise Architect will partner closely with business and engineering leaders to define architecture standards and guide the transformation of core platforms.
This role is hybrid 3x a week onsite, so please keep that in mind while applying.
Key Responsibilities- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy with a focus on microservices and API-driven solutions.
- Lead the modernization of applications from monolithic systems to modular, service-oriented architectures.
- Establish architecture standards, best practices, and governance across engineering teams.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Oversee solution design using the Microsoft technology stack (Azure, .NET, SQL Server, etc.).
- Provide architectural guidance on integrations, interoperability, and data flow across systems.
- Mentor engineering teams in adopting architectural principles, frameworks, and reusable components.
- Ensure solutions meet requirements for security, scalability, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering or architecture roles.
- Strong expertise in microservices architecture and API design/management
. - Proven background working with the Microsoft technology ecosystem (Azure, .NET Core, SQL Server, Azure Dev Ops).
- Experience leading large-scale modernization efforts and platform transformations.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native design, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to collaborate across business and technical teams.
- Experience in healthtech or other regulated industries is a plus.
