SQL Developer

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge in SQL, SSIS, SSRS.
• Extensive experience with writing batch routines involving complex business scenarios and scheduling them.
• Good understanding of the Facets Data Model
• Good understanding and working experience in Member Enrolment, Claims Processing, and Stars Measures.
• Ability to develop relationship with stakeholders and understand the requirements through excellent listening and effective written and verbal communication
• Self-driven, innovation, motivated, well-organized, willingness to work on an onsite/offshore model and ability to work in remote setting.
• Exemplary personal and professional integrity
• Minimum of three to five years’ experience in software development required, with demonstrated expansion of skills over that time.
• Experience working in a project integrating data with MDM platforms preferred.
• Experience writing and tuning complex SQL statement and reporting in RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, SSRS, Performance Point or Teradata required.
• Java or C# and .Net along with scripting, python and cypher experience preferred.
• Experience with common ETL tools (SSIS, IBM Datastage, Ab Initio, Informatica, Talend) is a plus.
• Experience working with Git Hub / source-control systems.
• Knowledge or experience interfacing with Restful or SOAP API’s in both real-time and batch applications is required.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license unless otherwise noted.
• Basic knowledge of CLI tools / dotnet cli build commands.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL Server including the writing of complex stored procedures, functions and SSIS packages as well as basic knowledge of database administration
• Strong understanding and experience of database development methodologies (Agile and Scrum)
• Expert level knowledge of SQL administration, engineering, and monitoring tools
• Demonstrated expertise in performance tuning including both query and server optimization
• Experience with the LOOKML, SQL reporting/data visualization with Looker
• Use Looker tools such as Looker IDE, SQL Runner, & LookML Validator
• Strong knowledge and experience in data modeling, relational database design, optimization for performance, T-SQL, stored procedures, SSIS packages
• Expertise in understanding complex business needs, analyzing, designing and developing solutions
