Win-Tech, Inc. is an AS9100-certified aerospace machine shop located in a 20,000 sq. ft., climate-controlled facility in Kennesaw, GA. We manufacture precision‑machined and fabricated components for aerospace, defense, medical, and commercial applications. As our customer base continues to grow, we are expanding our Quoting & Estimating Department and seeking an experienced Cost Estimator with strong manufacturing and job‑shop knowledge.

The Aerospace Machine Shop Estimator will review customer RFQs, interpret engineering drawings, source materials and outside processes, and develop accurate cost and lead‑time estimates for precision‑machined parts. You’ll collaborate closely with the Plant Manager and internal production teams to ensure competitive, accurate quotes.

• Review customer RFQs for pricing and lead‑time requests
• Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, specs, and technical requirements
• Source materials, hardware, and outside processes (plating, heat treat, coatings, etc.)
• Calculate cost, time, and resource requirements for machining, fabrication, inspection, and processing
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and production staff to gather needed information
• Follow up on open quotes and track quote status
• Support process planning and job launch activities if a quote becomes an order
• Apply critical thinking to understand variable customer requirements and adjust cost models accordingly
• Work efficiently under deadlines and shifting priorities

• High school diploma/GED or completion of a four‑year apprenticeship
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Solid understanding of machining processes, materials, and sequencing
• Proficient math skills, including geometry and decimals
• Ability to provide and receive clear written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through
• Deadline‑oriented with strong critical thinking skills

• No supervisory duties initially, but growth potential to lead the quoting department
