Full‑time | 40 hours per week | Monday–Thursday, 6:00 am–4:30 pm
Win-Tech, Inc. is a precision aerospace machine shop looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer/Machinist to join our team. If you take pride in your craftsmanship and enjoy producing high‑accuracy parts, this is an excellent opportunity to work in a clean, climate‑controlled job shop environment.
We machine titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, aerospace alloys, and more. Your work will support defense, aerospace, medical, and commercial industries.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC lathes with minimal supervision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, sketches, and setup sheets.
- Verify parts meet specifications using calipers, micrometers (/OD), height gauges, and other precision tools.
- Perform machining with tolerances ranging from ±0.030 to ±0.0003 inch.
- Apply proper feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining practices for efficiency and quality.
- Conduct daily machine checks and report any issues (leaks, noises, functionality).
- Deburr parts as needed during operations.
- Adapt methods and machining sequences to new part requirements.
- Train new hires when requested.
- Follow all safety procedures and company processes.
- Meet goals related to efficiency, scrap control, and setup time reduction.
- Maintain good attendance and communication with teammates and supervisors.
- High school diploma/GED or completion of a four‑year apprenticeship program.
- Experience in a job‑shop or production machining environment.
- Ability to read/interpret detailed drawings and work order instructions.
- Strong math and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Effective communication skills.
- Must provide own tools for daily tasks (micrometers, indicators, edge finders, etc.).
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Standing for long periods, pushing, pulling, manual dexterity, and good visual acuity.
- Climate‑controlled aerospace machine shop
