Chemical Operator, Atlanta, GA

Starting pay $25.12 per hour

2nd Shift, Monday to Friday – 2:00PM-10:30PM (Will train on 1st shift 6:00AM-2:30PM for 2-3 months and then transition to 2nd shift)

As a chemical operator you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

• Set up, fill, mix and/or deliver production chemicals used in a manufacturing or process area where accuracy of chemical composition is important (e.g., wafer, ink toner, media) in process operation.
• Read and comprehend written and verbal instructions on work orders after training.
• Remove and dispose of waste chemicals, solvents and acids per the understanding of Haz Com training.
• Perform basic maintenance (TPM) of production equipment, clean pots and tanks for production.
• Assist in chemical spills as required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.
• Pass a medical test to wear a respirator.
• Pass a basic math test.
• Be certified as a forklift driver.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
