Responsibilities

Enhabit Hospice LPNs provide basic bedside care to terminally ill patients. Your duties include:

  • Taking and tracking patients’ vital signs such as weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
  • Preparing and administering injections, monitoring catheters, and dressing wounds.
  • Assisting with basic care tasks such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, standing, walking, and eating.
  • Communicating compassionately with patients and families, observing changes in patients’ conditions, and notifying doctors and other professionals as needed.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing and licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Valid state driver’s license, automobile liability insurance, and dependable transportation.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
  • Previous home health or hospice experience preferred.
