Provides support for research projects in the assigned area. Assists in conducting experiments and managing lab operations.
Responsibilities- Performs data collection and calculations according to established policies and procedures
- Interprets and communicates results
- Makes presentations on research results
- Assists with writing research papers, conducts library research, and prepares bibliographic materials
- Cleans and maintains research areas, prepares buffers and common reagents
- Maintains supplies and orders as needed
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a field related to the position
Required ExperiencePrior laboratory research experience
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Educational QualificationsAdvanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred ExperiencePrevious experience within the area of study as designated by the addendum
Abilities & SkillsKnowledge, skills, and abilities to handle multiple tasks or projects concurrently and meet assigned deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem‑solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management, and presentation skills.
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (e.g., Microsoft Office suite, Graph Pad Prism).
Strong attention to detail and follow‑up skills.
