The Seasonal Beauty Advisor (BA) is responsible for providing an exceptional experience for all Ulta Beauty guests by engaging each guest to determine their individual needs, conducting cashier tasks, keeping fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing tasks as assigned. The Seasonal Beauty Advisor supports the leadership team through a focus on performance, people, and process, demonstrating Ulta Beauty’s mission, vision, and values.

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
• Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by greeting, engaging, personalizing service, answering product questions, informing about promotions, and recommending complementary products and services.
• Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments and support execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Stay informed about new and existing products, services, ingredients, and benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.

• Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests.
• Share the benefits of the guest loyalty program and the Ulta Beauty app.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business.
• Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education for continuous professional development.

• Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards.
• Adhere to Ulta Beauty’s dress code.
• Drive sales by keeping assigned work area replenished, signed and faced, and ensuring testers are available.
• Maintain outstanding store standards and overall cleanliness.
• Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, displays, inventory procedures, and processing/unloading shipments using Ulta Beauty’s technology.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

• High school diploma is preferred.

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred.

• Passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficiency with basic technology (Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting during shift.
• Continuous or frequent lifting, carrying, and moving up to 25 lbs.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shift.
