Overview
Elevanta, an AMCI certified Association Management Company, is seeking a talented Insurance Sales & Marketing Director to join our team immediately. Our organization combines insurance brokerage with association management services to provide unmatched solutions to clients and their members. We serve many national franchise brands through their associations, including Burger King, Buffalo Wild Wings, Meineke, European Wax Centers, Zaxbys, Supercuts and more.

- Plan and implement sales, marketing and product development programs, short and long-range, targeted toward existing and new markets. Focus areas include our proprietary group health insurance and broker partner commercial lines insurance program.
- Sell member services with a focus on insurance programs and vendor programs (sponsorship, exhibitor booths) for association clients.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of group health insurance programs to drive significant sales growth among existing and future association member prospects.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve company and client objectives for products, services, and vendor programs (including convention booths, sponsor ships, advertising sales, etc.).
- Stay current on changes in insurance laws affecting company programs and member/employer responsibilities; develop processes to implement changes for Elevanta and member companies.
- Manage sales of the self-funded employee benefits insurance program, serving as broker, program manager, and back-office benefits administrator.
- Prepare proposals for new and renewal business and present both virtually and in-person.
- Conduct quarterly relationship and performance meetings with large accounts, reviewing performance and suggesting renewal changes (in-person and virtual).
- Plan and develop member services advertising and promotion activities (print, online, electronic media, and direct mail).
- Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners in employee benefits, property & casualty insurance, captive insurance and association management.
- Guide preparation of marketing activity reports and present to executive management.
- Maintain a consistent Elevanta image across all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
- Direct market channel development and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
- Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products and services.
- With association leadership, develop annual sponsorship and advertising packages for each association client, including convention booth opportunities, virtual sponsor ships, memberships, print and digital advertising, and other ideas to generate non-dues revenue.
- Understand each association client base and develop marketing and sales plans to communicate the value of association vendor programs to prospects.
- Meet with key clients to maintain relationships and negotiate and close deals for both member services and vendor sales programs.
- Develop new business opportunities in new markets and industries for both member services and vendor sales programs.
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and growth opportunities.
- Review and analyze sales performance against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
- Direct product research and development for new association programs and services.
- Four-year degree in business, marketing, sales or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in sales in the insurance industry; knowledge of group health programs and commercial lines insurance required.
- Knowledge of self-funded and captive insurance programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor and ability to speak confidently with members, business partners and client boards.

- Location:
Kennesaw, GA office. Fully remote is not an option. Hybrid up to 2 days a week based on performance. - Travel up to 25-30%.
