- Manage and develop new commercial service and preventative maintenance contract business.
- Attract new clients by establishing and retaining relationships.
- Identify and meet client requests while ensuring outstanding customer service.
- Serve as the leader of the prospecting and sales process to ensure new business and customer satisfaction.
- Establish customer rapport with products and services.
- Educate prospective customers on Legacy's superior quality products/services.
- Help facilitate post-sale transitions with service/project members.
- Continually call on assigned accounts to maintain and expand customer relationships.
- Follow up with existing sales bids and leads while supporting team members to achieve KPIs.
- Efficiently manage sales leads, customer orders, and current projects in Salesforce.
- Maintain current knowledge of competitive products and system characteristics.
- Work with the operations team to prepare and submit all technical data for approval.
- Review all submittals and orders prior to processing.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively, reporting potential claims.
- Keep management informed of local competition and market conditions.
- 3-5 years of sales experience within the Industrial, Construction / Service industry (MEP).
- Experience in HVAC Sales preferred.
- Demonstrable new business prospecting skills and prior sales results.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
- Problem-solving and negotiation aptitude.
- Proven ability to consistently contribute positively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customer leaders of all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage personal time effectively.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong writing, phone, and presentation skills.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
