POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a driven, coachable, and process-oriented In-Home Sales Consultant to meet with homeowners, diagnose their needs, educate them on our premium home exterior solutions, and guide them through a clear, transparent, consultative sales experience. This is not a high-pressure sales environment. We price fairly, don’t pressure homeowners into decisions, and don’t chase unqualified opportunities. We earn trust through professionalism, credibility, education, and a best-in-class homeowner experience.

You’ll run company-provided, pre-set appointments, follow a proven sales process, and operate within a team culture focused on disciplined, continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

IN-HOME CONSULTATION & SALES PROCESS

  • Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners (no cold calling)
  • Follow a structured, repeatable sales process built on proven sales methodologies
  • Diagnose homeowner needs through thoughtful discovery
  • Utilize visualization tools to help homeowners envision their new exterior
  • Present premium exterior solutions from best-in-class manufacturing partners
  • Close deals through education and alignment—not pressure or manipulation

PROFESSIONALISM & PREPARATION

  • Complete accurate measurements, photos, and video walk-arounds
  • Maintain clean, timely, and accurate CRM records
  • Utilize sales technology and tools to support a professional process
  • Communicate clearly with project management and production teams
  • Uphold high standards of follow-through, integrity, and customer service
  • Represent M&M’s values in every homeowner interaction

DEVELOPMENT & CULTURE

  • Participate in weekly team trainings and bi-weekly 1:1 coaching sessions
  • Embrace a development mindset: control your controllables, master the fundamentals, stay coachable, and trust the process
  • Take ownership of your preparation while contributing positively to the team
  • Compete with yourself and pursue daily incremental improvement

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

MUST-HAVES

  • Coachability — open to feedback, eager to learn, committed to improvement
  • Professional presence with strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow a structured sales process
  • Resilient, fail-forward mindset — able to handle rejection and learn from outcomes
  • Emotional discipline and personal accountability
  • Comfort with technology (CRM, mobile apps, digital design tools)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • In-home, consultative-based selling experience
  • Exterior remodeling or construction knowledge
  • Experience selling premium products or solutions
