As a Security Officer - Distribution Entry Monitor in Kennesaw, GA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. In this Part‑Time role you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will play a key role in access control at a busy logistics and distribution location, monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents.

• Monitor and control access points to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security protocols.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with directions, answering questions, and addressing concerns related to security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following site‑specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to deter risks and report unusual activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities per company and client policies.
• Support emergency response activities, including evacuations or lockdown procedures.
• Collaborate with site management and supervisors to communicate any security issues or concerns.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
