As an Access Control Officer, you will help deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, checking credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. • Assist with access control procedures by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by responding to inquiries and offering assistance.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to support a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and perimeter to observe and report irregularities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of activities, incidents, and observations as required.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with site personnel and emergency services.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with laws.
• Drug screening required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
