Home Health RN
Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Missouri is looking for a Registered Nurse to join the VNA Home Health team.
About VNA Home Health:
The Home Health program provides skilled services under orders from a private physician, delivered in the patient’s private home. Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Missouri is a non‑profit organization.
- Assess symptoms of diseases and responses to treatment.
- Teach patients and caregivers how to provide care.
- Answer questions about medications, diet, disease process, activity, etc.
- Administer IV and injectable medications.
- Perform prescribed treatments, provide wound management, and ostomy care.
- Restore independence and communicate changes in the patient’s health to the physician.
VNA provides a 30‑day preceptor/orientation training for new hires, including shadowing Home Health Team Members, on‑site visits with a trainer, and computer training for the handheld device used during patient visits.
Position Requirements- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri.
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare institution performing the role of an RN.
