Responsibilities
  • Provide accounting and financial reporting support services to clients as part of a team to complete deliverables in a timely, high‑quality, and accurate manner.
  • Support multiple clients across various industries and geographies.
  • Perform basic accounting services including accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance, as well as monthly, quarterly and year‑end reporting.
  • Assist the team with basic support to accomplish client deliverables and prepare statements and reports for review.
  • Proactively communicate status of work, ask timely questions, and seek clarification from the lead on client engagement when needed.
  • Respond to basic accounting and software questions, escalating as required.
  • Meet client service expectations by adhering to quality and timely deliverables, and meeting time‑budget expectations.
  • Respond to questions or concerns from team members and clients.
  • Execute defined processes and procedures, and share ideas or recommendations for improvements.
  • Promptly communicate roadblocks and inefficiencies as they arise.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Apply learning from one client engagement to the next and share insights with team members where relevant.
  • Stay current with updates and improvements on applicable technology platforms and obtain certifications as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred; experience in lieu of a degree may be accepted.
  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field desired; professional services experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping and payroll principles related to classifying, recording, summarizing data, and making computations.
  • Experience in Quick Books, Sage Intacct, and/or  is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge working within MS Office Suite.

Compensation for this role ranges from $78,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
