Youth Direct Support Professional (Tri-Cities) – Service Alternatives
Job Summary:
The Youth Direct Support Professional is responsible for the direct care and supervision of youth in varying age groups of up to 18 years old. In this position, you would be providing a safe environment while working on implementation of behavioral and permanency goals. Care and supervision may be provided in a variety of settings including, foster homes, family homes, and in the community.
Base pay range
: $20.00/hr - $20.40/hr
- Direct care and supervision of youth up to 18 years old.
- Provide a safe environment while implementing behavioral and permanency goals.
- Support youth in settings such as foster homes, family homes, and in the community.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and either
- 1 year experience working directly with children OR
- 2 years of social services education
- Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check
- Be at least 21 or older
- Currently have or within 30 days of being hired CPR/First Aid license (Paid by SA)
- Current driver license, car, and car insurance.
- TB Test:
Within 7 days of first day of employment, or prior to working on site (whichever comes first) (Paid by SA)
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
