Locum Hematology Oncology Physician - Outpatient Clinic (No Call): $500 Hourly
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Overtime (OT) will apply for hours worked beyond 40 per week.
About the Opportunity:
Hospital in Kennewick, Washington, is seeking a dedicated and Board Certified Hematology Oncology physician to provide full-time locum coverage in our outpatient clinic from July through December 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a supportive environment with a consistent weekday schedule and no on-call responsibilities. While full-time coverage is ideal, we are also open to considering a provider who can offer three weeks of coverage per month.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing comprehensive hematology and oncology care to adult patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Conducting patient consultations, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Prescribing and managing medications, including chemotherapy and other cancer-related therapies.
- Providing patient education and counseling on treatment plans and disease management.
Schedule Flexibility: While full-time (Monday-Friday) coverage is preferred, we are willing to consider a provider who can commit to three weeks of coverage per month.
Call Responsibilities: No call coverage is required for this outpatient position.
Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Hematology Oncology.
