Responsibilities

As a new graduate at ENERCON, you will be expected to actively engage in tasks and responsibilities critical to our projects. Key expectations include learning and applying design codes and standards, collaborating with senior engineers for field data collection, adapting to new software systems, and managing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. It is essential to ask questions, use available resources, and connect classroom knowledge with practical industry work.

Key Skills for Success
  • Graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET‑accredited school in one of our preferred majors.
  • Available to start between May 2026 and August 2026 (preferred to graduate May–June 2026).
  • Completed courses in Circuit Analysis, Power Systems, and Control Systems.
  • Exposure to digital upgrade life cycle including feasibility studies, procurement specifications, design change packages, FAT/SAT test procedures, installation, and testing.
  • Understanding of current regulatory and industry digital upgrade standards.
  • Solid foundation in core concepts of your major.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, navigate client sites, work outdoors, and travel for client and company projects.
  • Important Note: Some roles may involve work on federal contracts requiring U.S. citizenship. Only applicants who can confirm U.S. citizenship will be considered for those positions.
