- Evaluate and design power systems at power‑generating facilities.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate design functions.
- Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality of work assignments with minimal oversight.
- Prepare error‑free engineering documents (drawings, sketches, calculations, analyses) according to industry codes and regulations.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry codes, safety culture, and nuclear‑industry design techniques.
- Produce high‑quality deliverables aligned with client and ENERCON QA programs.
- Build relationships with clients through professional interactions and communication.
- Travel to plant sites for client interaction, walk‑downs of structures, systems, and components.
- Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
- 1‑2 years of design experience (design modification experience preferred).
- Proficiency in design calculations.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of industry standards and willingness to participate in prototyping and testing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot design issues and propose solutions.
- Effective individual contributor and team player.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, navigate client sites, work outside, and travel for projects.
- Pass pre‑employment, random drug/alcohol screening, background checks, and annual MVR checks per company and client policies.
