Job DescriptionThe position requires working with children/youth, adults, individuals, couples, and families. A specific therapeutic approach is not required, however, able to demonstrate strength-based, cognitive-behavioral therapy, client-centered, or person-centered approach, a strong desire. Ability to work with children/youth or adults, individuals, couples, and families. Must be able to show and demonstrate positive and healthy lifestyle, have compassion and value of all clients served, and a desire to make a difference.
Must be able to help clients with a broad background of needs and barriers, including but not limited to mild to moderate mental health illnesses. Not required, but highly recommend strong background in working with trauma, domestic violence/unhealthy relationships, marriages, parenting, youth-related needs and issues, victims of assault, Veteran’s/military, foster children/adoptive parents, substance abuse addictions, other addictions, life guidance, and poverty.
Must be able to provide case documentation and maintain appropriate files/records. Must be able to follow strict confidentiality standards, respect, and value of all clients.
Minimum of a master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or similar, with at least 1 year of experience providing therapy to clients. As a nonprofit organization, this position must show support of the mission, vision, faith-based values of the agency, and be a positive support of staff, volunteers, and the community, but faith-background is not necessary for this position. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written-form, show strong positive-solving abilities, healthy life skills, and ability to work independently with little supervision.
Must be able to clear a background check. Must have a working vehicle and insurance coverage, unless working only telehealth. Must be able to demonstrate responsibility and have strong work ethics. This position will primarily be in-office at iMPACT! Compassion Center, with the option of doing some work remote/telehealth. There is flexibility with the schedule but will need to work with working space at the building for office visits.
Bilingual a plus, but not required. Must live in the state of Washington.

Pay$32.00 - $43.00 per hour
