We are seeking a full-time Production Technician to operate our dry ice machine and manage block ice production. This is a hands‑on role essential to daily operations, requiring mechanical awareness, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor dry ice production equipment
- Run block ice production from freezing through handling and staging
- Perform basic equipment checks and report mechanical issues
- Assist with preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Stack, move, and organize ice safely
- Perform daily and scheduled cleaning and sanitization
- Maintain accurate production and sanitation logs
- Monitor supplies and report shortages
- Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and company procedures
- Ability to work full-time with consistent hours
- Comfortable working in cold environments (freezers/refrigerated areas)
- Ability to perform physical work including lifting, bending, and standing
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
