RN - MedSurg​/Tele

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 19:00-07:00 with 12-hour shifts. Two weekend shifts are required within a two-week pay period.

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population, focusing on geriatrics and adults. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, promote positive patient outcomes, and ensure adherence to established protocols and standards.

• Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct respiratory assessments and provide support as needed.
• Carry out EKG and cardiac monitoring tasks.
• Prepare and educate patients and their families on care plans.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic health record.
• Participate in patient rounding and care coordination.

• Current RN license in the state of Washington.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, or completion of a relevant rhythm interpretation course.
• Minimum of 2 years of med-surg experience.
• Experience with EKG/cardiac monitoring and respiratory assessments.
