Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring a WA or compact RN license and ACLS/BLS certification.

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1-2 years of ICU experience required
• Medical ICU and TNCC experience preferred

• Medical ICU unit with minimal cardiac patients in a teaching hospital setting
• 14-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:2, with charge nurse free of patient assignments
• Occasionally uses IABP equipment
• Uses Paragon EHR
• 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Cares for patients with sepsis, respiratory conditions, some cardiac issues, and trauma
• Team-oriented unit culture focused on accountability to best practices
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
