Journeyman Electrician – OCONUS – Yokota Air Base, Japan

All Com Global Services invites qualified applicants for the Journeyman Electrician position located at Yokota Air Base, Japan. This role involves the planning, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and telecommunications systems in accordance with industry standards and the National Electric Code.

• Plan, install, and test electrical circuits, conduit, and panel boards in accordance with NFPA 70 and other industry standards.
• Perform hot‑work installation practices and secondary distribution for AC & DC power systems.
• Install fiber, copper, and grounding for Outside Plant (OSP) as well as Inside Plant infrastructure, including cabling, racking, power, and HVAC.
• Prepare job estimates, conduct site installation preparation, and collaborate with project teams for data center installations.
• Test fiber, copper, and power equipment; configure and commission test equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and wiring diagrams; prepare and execute MOPs.
• Work safely around high voltage energized equipment and maintain accurate documentation.

• Basic hand tools and crimpers for electrical circuits and conduit.
• MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint for documentation.
• Portable laptop for testing, equipment configuration, and commissioning.
• Test equipment for fiber, copper, and power systems.

• Electrical design of transformers, switches, motors, and generators.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to add or remove wiring connections on equipment and hardware.
• Preparation of MOPs and safety documentation.

• Journeyman or equivalent electrical license.
• Minimum 3 years of installation experience in data and telecommunication markets.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field (preferred).
• Some experience with Quality Assurance processes.
• Ability to travel out of town 95% of the time.
• Active Department of Defense clearance required.
