Position: Day Warehouse Associate - Kennewick, WA

Location:

Kennewick, Washington, United States

Pay Range: $18 - $20 per hour

Warehouse Associates

Warehouse Associates play a pivotal role at Columbia Distributing. They are responsible for pre‑picking the beverage orders and placing the correct pallets on trucks. Teamwork is critical to this position’s success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all duties related to shipping, receiving, put‑away, replenishment, picking, loading, rotation, check‑in, repacking and security of products.
  • Rotate all products during receiving, replenishment, picking, repacking and returns activities according to Company standards.
  • Participate in pre‑picking and merchandising of products as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team‑oriented relationships with co‑workers, supervisors, managers and others.
  • Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards established by management.
  • Read order sheet accurately.
  • Work with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure productivity standards are acceptable.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Core Values at all times.
  • Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned.

Work Environment

This job operates mostly indoors with occasional outdoor work.

Physical Demands
  • Lift/carry/push/pull 50 lbs. repetitively and up to 165 lbs.

This is a full‑time position, days and hours of work vary and may include weekends and overtime.

Education and Experience

Minimum of 18 years of age.

Preferred

Education and Experience
  • Experience in a warehouse, with logistics or material handling.
  • High school diploma or GED.
Compensation
  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
  • Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees are also eligible for 80 hours of vacation every year and 7‑8 days of paid holidays throughout the calendar year (depending on location).
  • Hired applicant may be eligible for incentives/bonuses/annual bonuses.
