Embrace an accounting support position with West Red Lake Gold Mines as an Accounting Assistant. This role requires transaction processing and accurate record maintenance in a local 5-2/4-3 work schedule.

The Assistant will report to the Mine Controller and aid in daily accounting operations, requiring 1-2 years of experience in a similar environment. Familiarity with accounting software like Microsoft Dynamics and mining operations are preferred. The ability to navigate relevant regulations and communicate effectively will be crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payments, invoices, and reports without delay

• Update and maintain accounts payable/receivable records

• Assist in preparing bank deposits efficiently

• Reconcile vendor accounts and bank statements

• Support payroll preparation and monthly financial reporting

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
Accounting education is a plus

• 1-2 years of applicable experience

• Proficient use of accounting software and Excel

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Must undergo a background check and drug test
