Join MNP's Assurance & Accounting team as an intern to expand your expertise in financial reporting and client advisory. Develop key skills while providing tailored financial information to clients.

This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn within MNP's dynamic Assurance & Accounting team. Here, you will enhance your understanding of IFRS and GAAP while engaging with clients to support their financial decisions. You'll gain valuable experience in handling client accounts and summarizing financial data accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in compilations, reviews, and audits tasks

• Set up files for new and incorporated businesses

• Conduct accounts receivable and payable walkthroughs

• Summarize financial reports including profit and loss statements

• Investigate and rectify discrepancies in financial entries

Requirements:

• Actively pursuing a degree in accounting or finance

• Working towards CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) prerequisites

• Experience in an accounting office is beneficial

• Background in customer service is preferred

• Knowledge of accounting software is an asset
