Become an Accounting Assistant at West Red Lake Gold Mines, focusing on key accounting tasks within a local 5-2/4-3 schedule. Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and transaction processing.

Reporting to the Mine Controller, the successful candidate will have 1-2 years of clerical or accounting experience, ideally related to mining operations. Proficiency in accounting software and knowledge of relevant regulations are essential for this position. Strong written and verbal communication skills will enhance your ability to excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and expense reports with accuracy

• Maintain accounts payable and receivable records

• Prepare and execute bank deposits on time

• Reconcile vendor accounts and bank statements

• Provide support in payroll and generate financial reports

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
Accounting training preferred

• 1-2 years relevant work experience

• Familiarity with accounting software, especially Excel

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

• Willingness to complete required background checks
