Stores Clerk – MTGM

Job Summary:

The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre is seeking an enthusiastic individual to provide general service to all wards and departments as instructed. Core duties will include issuing and replenishment of medical supplies to all patient and administrative areas on a daily basis. Maintaining accurate inventory on‑hand stock levels in collaboration with the Materials Management team.

• Minimum grade 12 or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Class “G” license preferred.
• WHIMIS, Transportation Dangerous Goods training required.
• Excellent computer skills including Excel, MS Word, database applications, email.
• Strong mathematical aptitude, organizational skills, and knowledge of filing procedures.
• Good communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to work independently and within a dynamic team environment.
• Previous related experience in a procurement related field an asset.
• Must be physically able to perform duties of the position including extensive walking, lifting and moving of incoming freight up to 20+lbs.

• Complete daily picklists for replenishment of supplies to units using electronic barcoding process.
• Manage and maintain stocked item supply inventory to ensure accuracy within the electronic database.
• Ensuring all supplies issued to correct cost centre to ensure financial accountability and inventory on‑hand stock levels.
• Ensure safe delivery and transportation of all supplies throughout hospital sites as required.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work environment.
• Must be flexible in the job routine and work as a team member with other departments to complete tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

$27.30 – $29.45 per hour. Benefits in accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement.
