Reporting to the Safety Manager, this role is critical for enforcing safety practices and maintaining regulatory compliance. Key tasks include accident documentation, overseeing safety tours, and developing job procedures. Your proactive approach will contribute significantly to the safety culture at the mine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead accident investigations and document findings

• Schedule and perform workplace safety inspections

• Ensure resolution of safety issues identified during tours

• Oversee training documentation and compliance

• Facilitate safety meetings and inductions

Requirements:

• Secondary School diploma or extensive mining experience

• Previous supervisory experience preferred

• Expertise in safety regulations and processes

• Strong analytical and documentation skills

• Valid Class G driver’s license
