We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our hardware store team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist customers with product selection, process sales and orders, and help ensure the store operates efficiently.

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide basic product information.
• Process sales, returns, exchanges, and payments accurately.
• Answer customer inquiries in person and over the phone.
• Prepare and process customer orders, special orders, and quotes.
• Coordinate customer pickups and deliveries.
• Assist contractor and account customers.
• Enter and maintain customer and order information in the POS system.
• Receive, organize, and check incoming merchandise when required.
• Maintain clean and organized sales areas and displays.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding product availability, pricing, and orders.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally.
• Work with other staff members to ensure customers receive timely service.
• Follow store policies and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Previous retail, customer service, or hardware experience is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn POS and inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask in a busy retail environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of hardware, building materials, tools, plumbing, electrical, or home improvement products is an asset.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise when required.
