Secondary Long Term Occasional Teacher – Keewatin-Patricia District School Board
Position: 0.33 FTE Part‑time Long Term Occasional Teaching Position – Intermediate/Senior qualifications required;
Literacy and/or Special Education qualifications preferred.

About the BoardKeewatin-Patricia District School Board (KPDSB) serves approximately 5,000 students across 17 elementary and 6 secondary schools in Northwestern Ontario.
Qualifications- OCT Certificate required. Intermediate/Senior and continuing education qualifications or experience preferred.
- Understanding of current educational philosophies, teaching and learning strategies involved in the Ontario Curriculum, Continuing Education, Adult Education Credit Strategy, Achieving Excellence, and the Renewed Math Strategy.
- Understanding of experiential learning including Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) Programs, Outdoor Education, Dual Credit Programs, and Career Studies.
- Familiar with First Nations, Inuit, and Metis cultures within the region and experience working with First Nation, Metis, and Inuit students, families and communities.
- Experience as a staff developer, lead learner, and facilitator.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with and/or experience working cooperatively with staff, administration, and educational partners.
