Teaching Position
1.0 FTE FRENCH IMMERSION TEACHER, ST. MARY SCHOOL
In anticipation of the upcoming school year, The Northwest Catholic District School Board is inviting applications for a full time (1.0 FTE) French Immersion Teacher y School commencing August 31, 2026.
The successful candidate will deliver French Immersion programming in a Catholic learning environment that supports academic excellence, faith formation and student well being. The role requires strong instructional practice, effective classroom management and a commitment to nurturing the spiritual, academic and social development of students.
Qualifications/Requirements- Certificate of Registration with the Ontario College of Teachers (in good standing).
- French as a Second Language (FSL) Part 1.
- Religious Education Part 1 or a demonstrated commitment to obtain this qualification within two (2) years.
- Demonstrated faith life and strong commitment to Catholic Education.
- In accordance with the current OECTA collective agreement, dependent upon qualifications and experience, with a salary range of $62,760 to $119,949 annually.
- We also offer a comprehensive and generous benefit package, including personal leave, an additional report card day and enrollment into the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP).
