Position: Full-Time Vice-Principal
Location: Sioux North High School
Rate of Pay: $131,269 - $142,238 annually
Union Affiliation: OPC
Start Date: August 1, 2026

Position SummaryAs a dynamic and dedicated educator, you will work with faculty, support staff, students, parents, and the community of Sioux Lookout to provide an excellent education in a learner-centered environment that prepares each student to be a successful individual and a responsible member of society. Ideal candidates are able to enhance quality of education while creating a positive and inclusive school climate and learning environment for students.
Candidates will have involvement with school or system-level instructional leadership, demonstrate an understanding of board strategic priorities, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have a demonstrated ability to problem-solve and deal effectively with conflict, and maintain a strong focus on student success, achievement and well-being.
Ontario Teacher Certification and Principal's qualification program or a plan to complete the qualification is required. Five years teaching experience and Special Education qualifications are preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Please provide a copy of the Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of qualification. These documents can be uploaded directly into your Apply To Education portfolio/application. This position will require a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) or a Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) at the employee’s expense.
