Position: Education Assistant for School Readiness
Location: Fort Frances

Become an Education Assistant at Rainy River District School Board's School Readiness Program, dedicated to supporting kindergarten readiness. Focus on developing essential skills through tailored support.

This role requires collaboration with classroom teachers and special education staff to assist in developing students with special needs. Your responsibilities will include implementing individual education plans and providing physical care as well as emotional support. You're key to fostering a safe and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation of educational modifications

• Deliver programs for social and behavioral development

• Ensure student safety during transitions and activities

• Prepare materials for learning and manage classroom equipment

• Team up with school personnel and community professionals

Requirements:

• Secondary School diploma or equivalent

• Experience of at least two years in a related field

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Flexibility to meet diverse student requirements

• Strong physical capacity to fulfill duties
