Elementary Long Term Teacher

Position

Full‑Time Long Term Occasional Teaching Position – Primary/Junior qualifications preferred.

Red Lake Madsen Public School.

ETFO‑Occasional Teachers.

Effective August 31, 2026 until the return of incumbent, but not beyond June 25, 2027.

This position will remain open until filled.

• OCT Certificate and in good standing is required.
• Familiarity with First Nations, Inuit and Metis cultures in the region and experience working with First Nation, Metis and Inuit students, their families and communities within Northwestern Ontario.
• Experience as a staff developer, lead learner and facilitator.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with and or experience in working cooperatively with staff, administration and educational partners.
• Requires a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) or a Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) at the employee’s expense.
