The Northwest Catholic District School Board is on the lookout for a full-time Long Term Occasional Teacher for the upcoming  school year y School, operating from August 31, 2026, to March 12, 2027. This teacher will engage students through a curriculum grounded in Catholic values, promoting their spiritual and academic journeys. Enthusiastic instructional practice and solid classroom management are key to supporting every student’s development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dynamic classroom instruction focusing on student engagement

• Implement effective management techniques throughout lessons

• Promote academic, spiritual, and social learning in class

• Work collaboratively to improve individual student outcomes

• Regularly assess and adjust teaching tactics to student needs

Requirements:

• Current Ontario College of Teachers certification in good standing

• Teaching qualifications in Primary/Junior/Intermediate

• Commitment to completing Religious Education Part 1

• Strong alignment with Catholic Education values and faith

• Effective teaching practice and classroom management skills
