The Metallurgical/Assay Technician Student role offers an exceptional opportunity to initiate, conduct testing and assay samples.

The position will be on a 5/2/4/3 – 9 hour shifts schedule and will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario.

The compensation range for this role is $29.00-$32.00 CAD.

Key result areas in this role include:

• Complete metallurgical /assay reporting
• Provide coverage in the refinery in cases of vacation or sickness
• Assisting in assay lab when required
• Work with Metallurgical group to help with daily tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

As a Metallurgical/Assay Technician Student, you will be a Metallurgy Technologist or Technician student at an accredited University (related fields will be considered). It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate:

• Sound comprehension and interpretation of technical language
• Excellent numeric and analytical ability
• Good computer skills with proficiency using spreadsheets and process controllers
• Displays initiative, strong attention to detail, and a flexible team player
