Position: Municipal Engineering Summer Student Role
Join as a Municipal Engineering Summer Student and impact community projects. Support asset evaluation, surveys, and GIS efforts in a hands-on role.

Ideal for students returning to full-time studies, this position provides an opportunity to collaborate with Town professionals on various engineering tasks. You will assist with condition assessments of municipal assets like sidewalks and contribute to essential GIS functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveys and collect vital data

• Assess the condition of Town's physical assets

• Provide assistance with GIS system implementations

• Support utility locates for Town services

• Work with Operations and Facilities Management team

Requirements:

• Enrollment in post-secondary education Fall 2024 - Spring 2025

• Intention to continue studies in Fall 2026 - Spring 2027

• Must adhere to eligibility considerations for students

• High school students must be enrolled in a qualifying program

• Preference given to those with recent academic enrollment
