Position: Project Technologist for Public Works
Location: Sioux Lookout

Drive development in public infrastructure as a Project Technologist for Public Works. This role involves planning, executing capital projects, and engaging with First Nation communities.

As a Public Works Project Technologist, you will serve as a key advisor to the Public Works Manager. This position requires a graduate in Technology or Technician fields and the ability to achieve certifications with OACETT and OBOA. Your strong communication skills will be essential in coordinating efforts and interpreting technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement capital projects for Public Works

• Collaborate with First Nation communities during project execution

• Provide consultancy and guidance to project teams

• Read and interpret engineering plans and specifications

• Ensure compliance with provincial regulations

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Technology/Technician fields

• Current or prospective OACETT and OBOA certifications

• Valid Ontario's Driver's License and insured vehicle

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience with First Nation communities
