Lead the Drill & Blast team at Evolution Mining in Red Lake, Ontario. Ensure operational efficiency and safety through effective mine planning and team development.

This Superintendent role is crucial for the Red Lake Gold Operations, reporting directly to the Manager of Integrated Planning. You will lead Short-Term Planning Engineers and Surveyors, focusing on delivering precise mining plans. Safety and compliance are key, alongside mentoring staff and engaging contractors for best practices in drilling and blasting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to operational teams

• Promote a Zero Incident culture in the workplace

• Oversee preparation of short-term mine plans

• Mentor engineers and technical staff for development

• Engage with contractors to implement best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mine Engineering with P'Eng designation

• Proven underground mining experience in a similar role

• Strong technical knowledge in narrow vein gold mining

• Advanced proficiency in Deswik Suite and Microsoft Office

• Strong leadership and project management skills
