Position: Cyber Security Analyst for Education Sector
Location: Dryden

Drive cyber security strategy for the Northwest Catholic District School Board across various Ontario locations. This role combines hands-on leadership and IT risk management expertise.

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in coordinating the Board's cyber security efforts while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your responsibilities include managing incident responses, security assessments, and AI governance across educational environments. You will also collaborate closely with IT teams to reinforce the organization’s cyber resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee cyber security programs and practices Board-wide

• Implement strategies for effective AI technology usage

• Coordinate incident responses and risk management efforts

• Work with IT staff to enhance overall security

• Assess vendor and application security protocols

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Cyber Security or related field

• Relevant certifications like CISSP, Security+, or equivalent

• Experience in cyber security operations and IT management

• Familiarity with cloud services and regulatory compliance

• Exceptional communication skills for diverse audiences
