As a Caretaker, your responsibilities will cover a range of maintenance activities, including vehicle servicing and operating cleaning equipment adeptly. Your ability to communicate effectively with personnel and maintain quality standards will be vital in this role. You will also be expected to identify repair needs and coordinate with contractors to ensure timely solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle vehicle maintenance scheduling and checks

• Maintain cleanliness in police vehicles and facilities

• Operate floor care and other cleaning equipment

• Manage groundskeeping equipment effectively

• Understand and apply WHMIS for safety

Requirements:

• Successful completion of an OPP background check

• Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning and maintenance

• Strong communication for managing repairs

• Familiarity with safety regulations in maintenance work

• Basic repair skills in carpentry and plumbing for upkeep
